Live Engraving and Personalization for Pinterest and Purina in St. Louis

When Pinterest reached out to collaborate on a live event personalization experience alongside Purina here in St. Louis, I immediately said yes!

As someone who has used Pinterest for over a decade for everything from recipes and home inspiration to fashion inspiration, creative planning, and vision boards, the opportunity to work with a platform I’ve genuinely loved for years felt incredibly surreal. What made the experience even more meaningful was that Pinterest originally discovered my work through Pinterest itself, making the collaboration feel especially full-circle.

For this three-hour corporate event, my team and I provided live personalization on a variety of items, including luggage tags, pet tags, and water bottles branded with both Pinterest and Purina logos. The bottles themselves were such a fun and thoughtful item for guests, featuring a detachable base with built-on food and water bowls for pets.

To help bring this experience to life smoothly, I assembled a small team that included another artist as well as an event assistant. In addition to the live personalization itself, I sourced luggage tags in five different colors inspired by Pinterest’s 2026 trending colors palette and coordinated pet tags for the activation as well.

One of my favorite parts of preparing for events like this is designing an experience that feels cohesive from beginning to end. Prior to the event, I tested the luggage tags in my home studio to ensure they personalized beautifully and aligned with the overall experience Pinterest envisioned. I also created the signage, intake forms, and an organized workflow system to help guests move smoothly through each personalization station throughout the event.

Throughout the event, guests shared how surprised they were that the personalization was being completed live on-site. Many mentioned they had never seen anything like it before. The engraved pet tags received especially sweet reactions because of how delicate and smooth the engraving looked, while the personalized luggage tags became instant favorites for guests already thinking ahead to future travels.

One of the things I love most about live personalization is that it transforms a gift into an experience. Watching guests gather around the stations, react to seeing their names personalized by hand in real time, and leave excited about something created specifically for them made the entire event incredibly rewarding.

I’m so grateful to Pinterest and Purina for inviting my team and me to be part of such a memorable event here in St. Louis. Opportunities like this are a reminder of how impactful live personalization can be for brand activations, corporate events, and guest experiences.

If you’re planing a corporate event, retail activation, client appreciation event, or brand experience and are interested in live engraving or on-site personalization services, I’d love to connect!
